As you approach the main archway from elegant sunken gardens, you are greeted by the lush foliage and seasonal plantings for three seasons of the year, and year round by the charming stone animals that stand as centurion guards of this meticulously restored estate.

The splendor of the grounds is richly complemented by the grand interior of the castle building itself, where you experience Saint Clements' priceless and extensive art collection consisting of modern, Victorian and Russian works displayed alongside exquisite antiques in the Art Gallery. From there, you are led to the Waterford Room where formal celebrations, banquets and conferences are held. A spectacular, million dollar view of the Connecticut River is seen from every window to enhance the elegance and charm of this exquisite multi-purpose ballroom.

At the base of the Norman Tower, the old world charm of the estate comes alive in the original carriage house, today beautifully transformed into an inviting Tavern. The stunning hand-burnished oak bar and refurbished horse stables now invite you to enjoy a cocktail and share happy moments with family and friends.

Recent renovations include meticulously detailed restoration of the gables, walkways, balconies and courtyards.
