Saint Clements Castle is proud to offer the finest cuisine to enhance your meeting and overall experience with us.  Our Award-Winning Executive Chef is committed to preparing your menu using only fresh ingredients, to include homemade soups, meats, fish & seafood and vegetables.  Whether you require a working lunch, themed menu, gala awards dinner or elegant cocktail reception, your Sales & Event Planner will suggest a menu specifically to suit the needs of your discriminating guests.

FINAL GUARANTEE/COUNTS

Final guarantees, to include specific entrée counts for sit-down menu service, are due a minimum of seven (7) business days prior to the event.  If a guarantee is not provided, fees will be charged based upon the maximum number of attendees as specified in the signed contract.  Changes received after the Final Guarantee provided may be subject to availability and additional charges. Charges will be posted to the final invoice for the guaranteed or exact count, whichever is higher.

SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX

Please add an 18% administrative service charge and applicable Connecticut state sales tax to all food and beverage prices.  Administrative Service Charge and CT Sales Tax is subject to change.  If a group is tax-exempt, a CERT Form from the CT State Department of Revenue Services approving the exemption must be provided a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event date.  CERT Forms are available online at www.ct.gov/drs.  Payment by tax-exempt organizations is required to be made by check or credit card drawn on the organization’s account, not on the account of a private individual. 

DEPOSIT/PAYMENTS

A non-refundable deposit of $2,000.00 is required at the time of booking reservation to confirm the date.  The remaining balance of the event cost total, payable in installments, must be paid in full one week prior to the event.  Any final balance following the event is payable in full within 7 days.

ENTERTAINMENT/OUTSIDE SERVICES

Saint Clements Castle must be notified and pre-approved of all vendors and outside services prior to your event to ensure suitability.  For your convenience, Saint Clements Castle recommends use of services through our Preferred Vendor List.  The Preferred Vendor List includes Bands, DJ’s, Bagpipers, Florists, Humorists, Motivational Speakers, Comedians, Celebrity appearances, and Teambuilding program services.  Please inquire with your Sales & Event Planner regarding recommendations and contact information.

AUDIO/VISUAL SERVICES

Please consult your Sales & Event Planner for a complete list and pricing of all equipment available for rental and high-speed internet access.  Saint Clements Castle is pleased to offer WiFi service.

DECORATIONS/SIGNAGE

Displays, signage and decorations may not be used without expressed written permission from Saint Clements Castle.  No signs or decorations may be hung or adhered to any walls, ceilings, furniture, lighting or antiques.  Candles are not permitted at Saint Clements Castle.  Battery operated candles are permissible.  Please inquire with your Sales & Event Planner regarding established Estate policies.

PRE-SHIPMENT & DELIVERIES
Please contact your Sales & Event Planner in advance regarding the availability and sufficient storage of pre-shipment and delivery of Meeting or Event materials.  Bulk packaging and boxes may require a labor and handling charge.

Waterford Ballroom $1,500.00 per event
Includes use of adjacent Orchard Room & Waterford Foyer
Prince Edward Ballroom $1,500.00 per event
Half Ballroom (2,250 sq ft) $750.00 per event
Quarter Ballroom (1,125 sq ft) $375.00 per event
Tavern & Stables $500.00 per event
Bridal Suite $300.00 per event

Breakout Rooms will be priced on a per event basis and priced accordingly.

Other Room Rental and/or Set-Up Fees may apply for event set-up in all other areas of the Castle to include the Back Lawn, Patio, River Deck, Courtyards and Sunken Garden.

Meetings or Events requiring 24-Hour hold on function space may be subject to additional Room Rental charges.  Requests for advance set-up for meeting or event prior to scheduled function date is based on availability and subject to Room Rental.
